  Egypt is a north-eastern African country, with the Sinai Peninsula forming a land bridge to Western Asia. The country is bounded by the Mediterrenean Sea and the Red Sea, and geographically dominated by both the Nile River and the Eastern and Western deserts. Egypt is well-known for its ancient civilization and for some of the world's most famous monuments, including the Gizeh pyramid complex and its Great Sphinx. The southern city of Luxor contains numerous ancient artifacts, such as the Karnak Temple and the Valley of the Kings.

  Seychelles is an archipelago nation of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean that lie off the  coast of East Africa, northeast of Madagascar.
  Of these 115 islands, 41 constitute the oldest mid-oceanic granite islands on earth, while a further 74 form the low-lying coast atolls and reef islands of the Outer Islands. The granitic islands of the Seychelles archipelago cluster around main island of Mahé, home of the capital and the international airport. Seychelles has the smallest population of any state in Africa.
